2026 UM Global Studies Undergraduate Scholarship in the Netherlands | Fully Funded
The Maastricht University Global Studies Scholarship is a fully funded program for undergraduate students from the Global South to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Here’s what you need to know:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality from a country in the Global South (Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean) as defined by the OECD
- No dual nationality from a country in the Global North
- No prior participation in a degree-seeking higher education program in the Netherlands (exchange programs are allowed)
- Under 35 years old by September 1, 2026
- Admission to the Global Studies bachelor’s program at Maastricht University for the 2026-2027 academic year

Application Process:
- Register for the Global Studies program at Maastricht University via Studielink and obtain a student ID number.

- Selection process: Applications will be reviewed, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview.
