Entire industries have experienced disruption as a result of automation and innovation. The widespread proliferation of (mis)information is accessible as a click of a button and personal data is becoming increasingly digitally available. The Digital Governance Scholarship is aimed at students who wish to delve into the various challenges posed by digitalisation.

- One full scholarship worth 34,500 euros
Who is it for?
All applicants with demonstrated interest in analysing and responding to the challenges posed by digitalisation across all industries and sectors.
How to apply
- First, submit a standard application to the MPP, MIA or MDS programme.
- Additionally, answer one of the following questions in a brief essay:
- How can digitalisation be steered and regulated in a direction that is beneficial and improves public well-being?
- How can digitalisation foster innovation regarding policymaking and/or public service delivery and drive government transformation?
The additional essay should be sent to grad-admissions[at]hertie-school[dot]org after a standard application has been submitted. The essay should be approximately two pages in length.
Interested applicants should submit their application and essay before 1 May. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
