Apply for funded Workshop on Livestock Systems in Urbanizing Environments

Please
find the call for abstracts for our upcoming workshop on “Livestock
Systems in Urbanizing Environments: Impacts and Implications for Food
Security in Developing Countries” to be held in Uppsala, Sweden, March
5-6, 2019. The workshop is organized by the Department of Economics at
the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) with the support
of AgriFoSe2030. You are welcome to submit an extended abstract to the
workshop. Also, please feel welcome to forward or circulate the enclosed
call within your networks. After the deadline, a scientific committee
will screen all the abstracts and notify authors of accepted abstracts
by February 2019.

Thanks to financial support
from AgriFoSe, the workshop committee will be able to support a limited
number of participants who would not otherwise be able to attend the
workshop. Funds will include international air-fare, ground
transportation and lodging. Those who have requested travel assistance
will be notified of their status by approximately January 31, 2019.
