FREE STEM Fund for Aspiring Innovators and Students
The FREE STEM Fund is an initiative that supports adolescent and young girls and women in STEM fields, particularly those from underrepresented and marginalized communities.
Eligibility:
- Organizations, collectives, and initiatives committed to advancing the rights of girls, women, transgender, and non-binary people in STEM
- At least three members
- Align with FREE STEM’s mission and vision
- Focus on education and training in STEM
- At least 60% of leadership positions held by women, transgender, or non-binary individuals
- Annual organizational income of no more than €150,000 (2024)
Funding Models:
- AtoM Model: €15,000-€20,000 (2 years) for new or smaller initiatives
- Molecule Model: up to €50,000 (2 years) for organizations with more experience
Priority:
- Applications from underrepresented and traditionally excluded groups
- Women-led, transgender-led, or non-binary-led organizations
