
Legislative Mentorship Initiative 2025 (Now Open for Applications)
The Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) Cohort 4 Fellowship Programme is currently open for applications. Here’s what you need to know:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nigerian citizens between the ages of 21 and 35
- Minimum educational qualification of Degree/HND from a recognized institution
- Strong leadership potential with a credible track record of service to community and society
- Fluency in English (oral and written), creativity, and innovation for practical solutions
- Patriotic, visionary, and passionate about Nigeria’s growth and legislative development
Program Features:
- 3 weeks residential training with intensive sessions, lectures, simulations, case studies, and interactive workshops
- 1 month internship with practical experience embedded within legislative and public institutions
- 1 month virtual training and community interactions with continued mentorship, peer learning, and policy engagement
- Lectures by seasoned professionals and policymakers
- Case studies of governance and leadership
- Simulations and role-play exercises
- Group discussions and peer learning
