The University of Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarships is a fully funded program for domestic and international students pursuing a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne in Australia. Here’s what you need to know:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applied for or currently enrolled in a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne
- Meet the requirements for a graduate research degree
- Open to both Australian nationals and international candidates
Benefits:
- Full fee offset: Covers tuition fees for up to 2 years for Masters by Research or up to 4 years for doctoral degree
- Living allowance: $38,500 per year (pro rata) for up to 2 years for Masters by Research or up to 3.5 years for doctoral degree
- Relocation grant: $2,000 for students moving from other states or territories in Australia or $3,000 for students moving from outside Australia
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC): Single membership for international students requiring a student visa
Application Process:
- Apply for a graduate Masters or PhD degree at the University of Melbourne
- If you’re a new student and have applied for a graduate research course by the application closing date, you’ll be automatically considered for the Graduate Research Scholarships
- Receive notification that a scholarship application has been added to your record within 10 business days of submitting your course application
