The University of Manchester is offering the Global Futures Scholarships 2026 to international students from select countries, including Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Botswana, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. The scholarship is worth over £4.5 million and will be awarded to more than 300 students for undergraduate and master’s degree programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
– Residency: Applicants must be domiciled in one of the eligible countries and have predominantly resided there for the last three years.
– Self-Funded: Applicants must be self-funded and not sponsored.
– Academic Requirements: Undergraduate applicants must be applying for direct first-year entry in 2026 with qualifications such as A-levels, IB Diploma, or South African NSC. Master’s applicants must hold an unconditional offer to study a full-time master’s program.
– Course Restrictions: Certain courses like Medicine, Dentistry, Architecture, and MBA are not eligible for the award.
Scholarship Benefits:
– Undergraduate Awards: £30,000 (£10,000 per year for three years) in the form of tuition fee discounts, conditional on achieving a 60% average each year.
– Master’s Awards: £18,000 in tuition fee discounts, awarded based on academic excellence and responses in the online application form.

1. Apply for Admission: Submit an application for an undergraduate or master’s program at the University of Manchester.
2. Receive and Accept Offer: Get an academic offer and accept it.
3. Scholarship Application Form: Eligible offer-holders will receive an email with a link to the scholarship application form.
