Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) Scholarship 2026 | Fully Funded Opportunity
The Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) is offering fully funded scholarships to international students pursuing Master’s, PhD, General Scholar, or Senior Scholar programs across over 30 specialized research institutes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Non-Chinese citizens
- Healthy and willing to abide by Chinese laws and decrees
- Meet education and age requirements:
- Master’s programs: Bachelor’s degree, under 35 years old
- Doctoral programs: Master’s degree, under 40 years old
- General Scholar: at least 2 years’ undergraduate studies, under 45 years old
- Senior Scholar: Master’s or higher degree, under 50 years old
- Demonstrate English and/or Chinese proficiency
Scholarship Benefits:
- Full tuition fee waiver
- Free on-campus dormitory accommodation
- Living allowance:
- Master’s student & General Scholar: 3,000 RMB/month
- Doctoral student & Senior Scholar: 3,500 RMB/month
- Comprehensive Medical Insurance

- Notarized highest diploma
- Academic records
- Two reference letters
- CV
- Research proposal
- Language proficiency certificate
- Apply for Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) or Graduate School of CAAS Scholarship (GSCAAS)
- Deadline: March 31, 2026 (CGS), April 30, 2026 (GSCAAS)
