The Tax Reform Challenge is a nationwide competition for Nigerian students and young graduates to showcase their knowledge and creativity on the new tax reform laws. Here are the key details:
Objective: To raise awareness, promote tax education, and inspire constructive youth-led dialogue on Nigeria’s tax reform.
Eligibility: Open to undergraduates in all Nigerian tertiary institutions and graduates undergoing the NYSC program or awaiting mobilisation.
Entry Requirements:
- Read the new tax laws
- Create and submit an article, video, podcast, radio piece, or social media post published between July 1 and December 31, 2025
- Content must be educative, engaging, and fact-basedÂ
Evaluation Criteria:
- Creativity
- Factual accuracy
- Public engagement
- Ability to inform or engage the public on tax issuesÂ
Award Structure:
- 1st Prize: ₦5 million
- 2nd Prize: ₦3 million
- 3rd Prize: ₦2 million
- Consolation prizes for top 10 finalists from each geopolitical zone, including gadgets, internships, employment opportunities, and Tax Reform Youth Ambassador honours
