Eligibility:
- African nationality
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, statistics, agricultural or environmental sciences)
- Actively engaged in applied policy-relevant econometric analysis or micro-economic modelling of African agri-food system issues
Benefits:
- One-year mentorship from senior JRC researchers and partners
- Access to cleaned datasets and/or JRC farm-level FSSIM-Dev model
- Full funding for participation in the 8th African Conference of Agricultural Economists (ACAE)
- Co-authored publication in a high-impact agricultural economics journal

- Research questions aligned with programme themes
- Contextual background of the research problem
