The National Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) portal is now open for the 2025/2026 academic session, offering financial assistance to eligible undergraduate students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Nigerian citizens
- Institution: Registered students at government-owned tertiary institutions, including universities, colleges of education, polytechnics, or vocational schools
- Program: Undergraduate students pursuing their first degree
Application Procedure:
- Visit the official NELFUND portal at https://nelf.gov.ng/
- Click on “Apply Now” and create an account
- Verify your educational information and upload required documents
- Submit your application
Benefits:
- Tuition Fees: Covered by NELFUND
- Monthly Stipend: ₦25,000
- Repayment: Interest-free, with repayment starting two years after NYSC
