
2025 ABTA Research Collaboration Grant Program
The American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) Research Collaboration Grant Program is seeking applications for its 2026 grant cycle. This program supports collaborative research projects focused on brain tumors, with a focus on high-risk, high-reward studies that can change diagnostic or treatment paradigms.
Grant Details:
- Up to $200,000 in support over a two-year period
- Supports projects focused on:
- Biomarkers of Risk, Disease Burden, and/or Treatment Response
- Brain Tumor Biology
- Clinical Research
- Diagnosis
- Drug Delivery
- Etiology
- Genetics
- Imaging
- Molecular/Genetic Epidemiology
- Novel Therapeutics
- Risk Assessment
Eligibility Requirements:
- Collaborative teams of two faculty members from distinct institutions
- Full-time faculty appointments
- Doctoral degrees
- Meet ABTA’s eligibility criteria
- Lead Institution must be a non-profit organization located in the U.S. or Canada
- Co-PI institution may be located anywhere in the world, provided both are non-governmental entities
Application Requirements:
- Letters of Intent must include:
- Project title
- Biosketches for both Lead PI and Co-PI
- Letter of support from the Co-PI
- Project narrative (up to three pages)
- Deadline: December 10, 2025
