Job Summary:
The Principal Director will manage the Transaction Banking Financial Institution (FI) Sales business and teams across Nigeria and wider West Africa, covering banks, public sector, and paytech clients. The goal is to grow cash management, clearing, trade finance, and SC PrismFX business in line with the bank’s strategy and risk parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the Transaction Banking FI Sales business and teams
- Develop and execute business strategy and sales plans
- Identify client needs and provide solutions to generate new business
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Manage financial crime compliance and credit risks
- Provide feedback and assistance to product management and other areas of transaction banking
Requirements:
- Experience: Over 10 years of broad banking experience, with deep knowledge of TB products and experience in FI/correspondent banking business
- Skills:
- Ability to proactively identify client needs and create solutions
- Strong executive impact and track record of new-to-bank sales success
- Ability to cultivate relationships with key influencers and senior decision-makers
- Strong credit understanding and experience
- Certification in advanced trade/cash is an advantage
