The Liberty Career Academy (LCA) Scholarship is a fantastic opportunity for Nigerian undergraduate students to pursue their academic and career aspirations. Here’s what you need to know:
Eligibility Requirements:
- Nigerian citizen or legal resident from another African country studying or living in Nigeria
- Enrolled in or obtained admission to an accredited post-secondary institution (University, Polytechnic, College of Education/Technical College) within Nigeria
- Valid government-issued means of identification
- 500-word Personal Statement (no AI-generated statements)
Scholarship Categories:
- Adeola Okungbaye Award: ₦200,000 for indigent students from single-parent families or orphans, with a minimum 3.5/5.0 CGPA or 220/400 JAMB score
- Merit-Based Award: ₦150,000 for students with exceptional academic ability and achievement (minimum 3.70/5.0 CGPA or 240/400 JAMB score), extra-curricular involvement, and demonstrated leadership potential
- Gifted Hands Award: ₦100,000 for students aged 18-25, enrolled in vocational/technical institutions, currently unemployed, with demonstrated leadership potential
