
2026 Swedish Institute Women in STEM Scholarship | Fully Funded Opportunity
The Swedish Institute Women in STEM Scholarship is a fully funded master’s program for women from 10 eligible countries in Africa and Asia, covering tuition fees, living expenses, and travel grants. Here’s what you need to know:
Eligibility Requirements:
- Female citizens of one of the 10 eligible countries: Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Thailand, and Vietnam
- Admitted to a designated master’s program in STEM fields in Sweden
- Not currently enrolled in a master’s program at a Swedish university
- Not having previously received an SI scholarship or completed a degree at a Swedish university
Benefits:
- Full Tuition Fee Coverage: Paid directly to the Swedish university
- Monthly Stipend: SEK 12,000 for living expenses
- Travel Grant: SEK 15,000 (one-time payment)
- Membership: SI Network for Future Global Professionals and SI Alumni Network
Application Process:
- Select a Master’s Program: Choose from the list of eligible programs for the academic year 2025/2026
- Apply through University Admissions: Submit your application through universityadmissions.se (October 15, 2025 – January 15, 2026)
- Let SI Know You Have Applied: Fill out the confirmation form to notify SI about your application
- Receive Notifications: University Admissions and SI will notify you about acceptance

- University Admissions announcement day: March 27, 2025
- SI Scholarship announcement day: April 24, 2025
