2026 Deakin University Dawn Wade Foundation Scholarship | Fully Funded for Domestic & International Students
The Dawn Wade Foundation Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship offered by Deakin University in Australia, designed to support undergraduate students from under-represented Australian public schools. Here’s a breakdown of the scholarship details:
Eligibility Requirements:
- Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident, or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
- Completed Year 12 at an underrepresented Australian public school in 2025
- Commencing an undergraduate bachelor degree at Deakin University in Trimester/Semester 1, 2026
- Enrolled full-time in a Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
- Enrolled at either Waurn Ponds or Waterfront Campus
- Living within the City of Greater Geelong or relocating from a rural or regional home
- Experiencing financial or personal hardship
Benefits:
- Total value of up to $25,268 per year
- Living allowance: up to $9,500 per year
- $500 cash payment in Week 1 of Trimester 1 and Trimester 2
- Up to $4,250 after census in Trimester 1 and 2
- Accommodation allowance: up to $15,000 for students living on campus
- Deakin Active gym membership: valued at up to $768
Application Process:
If you’ve already submitted an equity schemes (SEAS) and scholarships application through VTAC, you’ll automatically be considered for this scholarship. Otherwise, register and log in to Deakin’s Scholarship Application Portal and select “Undergraduate Scholarship Application Tri/Sem 1 2026”.

Selection Criteria:
- Preference given to students who are the first in their family to attend university
- To retain the scholarship, students must:
- Provide an introductory statement about their goals
- Submit a completion statement at the end of their degree
- Not hold any other Deakin scholarship concurrently
