The Nordic Africa Institute’s Nordic Scholarship Programme is designed for students and researchers engaged in Africa-focused studies at universities in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, or Iceland. Here’s what you need to know:
Eligibility Requirements:
– Master’s students, PhD candidates, or postdoctoral researchers in social sciences or humanities
– Affiliated with a university or research center in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, or Iceland
– Pursuing Africa-oriented studies or research
Scholarship Benefits:
– Travel Expenses: Coverage for the least expensive fare from your residential address to Uppsala and return
– Accommodation: Free accommodation centrally located in Uppsala
– Workspace: Access to a desk and computer in a shared office at the Institute
– Subsistence Allowance: SEK 400 per day for living expenses
– Free Photocopying: Up to 1,000 copies
