The Tokyo Global Partner Scholarship Program is a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue graduate studies at Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU) in Japan. Here’s what you need to know: Eligibility Requirements:
- Meet the entry requirements for admission to a graduate program at TMU
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree (for master’s applicants) or master’s degree (for PhD applicants) program at:
– A partner institution of TMU – A higher education institution in Tokyo’s sister cities or other Asian countries/regions
- Alternatively, work in a research institution, governmental organization, or company in Tokyo’s sister cities or other Asian countries/regions
- Demonstrate a commitment to collaboration and innovation for the enhancement of Tokyo and beyond
Scholarship Benefits:

- International airfare coverage
- Monthly stipend of 150,000 JPY
