About the program
BOLD interns are placed on teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Program Management. Their work is core to Google and varies in scope and in length — ranging from the day-to-day work of a full-time Googler to a single long-term project lasting the duration of the internship.
The application to the BOLD Internship Program is a general application. We will reach out to selected candidates on a rolling basis to collect additional information regarding your background, skills and preferences. You will then have the opportunity to state your preferences to specific teams and locations. You can learn more about our wide-range of teams on our careers site.
Who should apply
The Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development (BOLD) Internship Program is a paid summer internship for undergraduate college students that are interested in working in non-technical career opportunities at Google. Only students who are in their penultimate (second to last) year of a full-time Bachelor’s degree program and plan to return to school for at least one academic term before completing their degree are eligible to apply.
Google welcomes applications from candidates from all backgrounds regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability status or any other dimension of diversity, who are currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelors degree program.
Students from all schools, and students who (1) have demonstrated a commitment to diversity and inclusion; (2) have faced and overcome adversity; or (3) identify with a group that is historically underrepresented in the technology industry including, but not limited to Black, Hispanic, Native American, students with disabilities, Women and veterans, are encouraged to apply.
Students completing their 2nd year of college or university will be eligible to apply for the BOLD Immersion Program. Current seniors planning to graduate at the end of this academic year should visit Google Students for full-time entry-level opportunities.
How to apply
The BOLD internship application will open in September of the year prior to the internship, and will remain open for approximately one month. The BOLD Internship application for Summer of 2025 will open on September 30th, 2024 and close on October 18th, 2024 at 11:59pm Pacific Time (PT).
Only students who are currently enrolled in a full time Bachelor’s degree program and graduating between December 2025 and June 2026 are eligible to apply.
