5 Nutritious Foods That Slows Ageing

There are certain foods that could slow ageing by improving your
metabolism and boosting your energy. So, even by the time you hit forty,
your skin will still appear smooth with little or no wrinkles.

Accordingly, Jumia Food identifies anti-ageing food you should be eating.

Seafood
Seafood
such as salmon, tuna, mackerel, and sardines contain substantial
healthy fats that help moisturize your skin. It also protects the skin
from ultraviolet radiation damage naturally.

Eggs
To
protect your eyesight, eat the yolk. It features nutrients that lower
your risk of cataracts and age-related eye degeneration.

Cucumbers
There
is a lot of water in cucumbers, which makes it an excellent choice for
additional hydration that replenishes your body cells. Also, its silica
content is a natural wrinkle fighter that gives your body a radiant
skin.

Strawberries
Strawberries contain flavonoids
(healthy chemicals that give fruits and veggies their colour) with
antioxidant powers that could keep your heart young. Regularly eating
them and other flavonoid-rich foods like apples and pears could also
reduce the risk of heart disease.

Milk
As you age, you
lose bone and muscle. Milk helps counter this because it’s packed with
two anti-ageing nutrients—protein and calcium. Downing a cup of milk
daily won’t be a bad idea.
