GIZ Nigeria is hiring a Technical Advisor to support the ECOWAS African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) project. Here are the details:
Job Details:
- Location: Abuja, Nigeria
- Type: Full-time
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in International Trade, Law, International Relations, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum 8 years’ working experience in international trade or regional economic integration with a focus on Africa
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning, monitoring, and self-evaluation of trade facilitation and trade in services component
- Provide technical advisory services to ECOWAS Commission
- Oversee component activities and ensure cooperation with partners
- Represent the component and project to partners, donors, and other stakeholders
- Manage budget and ensure communication and visibility aspects are met
Requirements:
- Experience working with ECOWAS Commission and its Member States
- Experience implementing European Union-funded projects
- Good working knowledge of ITC technologies and computer applications
- Good management and organizational skills
Salary:
- According to GIZ Salary Scale for Band 5 (NGN 841,417 – NGN 1,666,667 per month)
