The Nigerian Women Trust Fund (NWTF) 2026 Grant is now open for applications, supporting women-led and women-focused organizations in Nigeria. Here’s what you need to know:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Local NGO or community-based organization registered in Nigeria
- Women-led or women-focused, with a clear mandate centering women or girls
- At least two years of continuous operation
- Strong administrative, financial, and human-resource capacity
- Realistic, community-driven interventions aligned with NWTF’s mission
Grant Focus Areas:
- Advocacy for women’s rights and gender equality
- Ending violence against women and girls (VAWG)
- Leadership development and women’s political participation
- Institutional strengthening of women-led organizations
- Community organizing and awareness-raising
- Supporting underserved or marginalized groups, including persons with disabilities
Project Timeline:Â January 2026 – April 2026 (4 months)
