Eligibility Requirements:
- Nationality: Open to nationals of AFREXIMBANK member countries, students of African descent in the diaspora, and non-African students with a vision for Africa’s transformation.
- Education: Currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs in recognized institutions, preferably in fields like economics, business administration, finance, accounting, or related fields.
- Language: Fluency in English or French, with working knowledge of the other language. Knowledge of Arabic or Portuguese is an added advantage.
- Age: Between 20 and 32 years old during the application year.
Benefits:
- Monthly Stipend: $1,000 tax-free, with an additional $500 housing allowance for interns relocating from their home countries.
- Travel Support: Coverage of reasonable return fare transport costs to the internship location.
- Accommodation: One week of hotel accommodation (bed and breakfast) during the induction period.
- Visa Assistance: Support with obtaining necessary residence visas for the internship duration.
