Postgraduate Programmes in Social Policy will begin at the Institute of Social Policy in the 2023/2024 Academic Session. Interested Candidates should apply using the usual University of Nigeria Online PG Application Platform. Go to the link:

https://spgs.unn.edu.ng/updated-method-of-application-for-postgraduate-admissions/ and do the following:

• Login to the UNN Portal- unn.edu.ng
• Go to postgraduate students
• Select PG form for 2023/2024
• Enter your telephone number.
• Fill in your basic details.
• Generate Invoice with RRR.
• Make payments using the online channel or at the bank.
• Come back to online form.
• Fill the PG online application form.
• Upload all necessary credentials in PDF.
• Complete referee form. (Enter correct Emails).
• Check the complete details
• Submit form.

The following programmes are available in the Institute:

• POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD) IN SOCIAL POLICY
• MASTER OF SOCIAL POLICY (MSP)
• MASTER OF SCIENCE IN SOCIAL POLICY (MSc.)
• DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN SOCIAL POLICY (Ph.D).

The establishment of the Institute of Social Policy was approved by the University Senate in her 416^th Meeting in October 2023 to provide a more focused unit to run the social policy programmes developed through collaboration of the University of Nigeria and UNICEF since 2018. The programmes are designed to enhance capacity-building and knowledge in Social Policy, promoting inclusion and contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.
