2026 ANSO Scholarship for International Students in China | Fully Funded
The ANSO Scholarship Program 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue Master’s and PhD degrees at top institutions in China, including the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Not hold Chinese citizenship
- Be proficient in English or Chinese
- Meet age requirements:
- Master’s program: born after January 1, 1995
- PhD program: born after January 1, 1990
- Meet admission criteria for international students at USTC or UCAS
- Not take up other assignments during the scholarship period
Scholarship Benefits:
- Full tuition waiver
- Monthly stipend:
- PhD students: ¥6,000-¥7,000 per month for up to 48 months
- Master’s students: ¥3,000 per month for up to 36 months
- Health insurance
- Application fee waiver
- International travel allowance
- Visa and residence permit allowance
Application Process:
- Choose your host university (USTC or UCAS) and prepare required documents, including:
- Academic transcripts and certificates
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Two reference letters
- Research proposal or study plan
- Passport copy
- Proof of English/Chinese proficiency (if available)
- Apply online through the USTC or UCAS admission system before January 31, 2026
- Select “CAS-ANSO Scholarship” in the funding section

- Application deadline: January 31, 2026
- Scholarship duration: up to 3 years for Master’s students and up to 4 years for PhD students
