The Leipzig DAAD Graduate School Scholarship Programme (GSSP) 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue a PhD in Global and Area Studies at Leipzig University, Germany. Here’s what you need to know:
Eligibility Requirements:
- International applicants who have not lived in Germany for more than 15 months
- Hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) completed within the past six years
- Strong interest in global, transregional, or transnational studies, particularly on issues like crises, revolutions, pandemics, migration, climate change, and more
Scholarship Benefits:
- Monthly stipend of €1,300 (including health and liability insurance, as well as research allowances) for up to 48 months
