The NESG Non-Residential Fellowship Programme (NRFP)
The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), Nigeria’s foremost private sector-led think-tank is looking for experts to serve as Senior Research Fellows under the NESG Non-Residential Fellowship Programme (NRFP).
The NRFP is a knowledge hub that will bridge the gap between socio-economic research and public policy, and promote evidence-based policy making in Nigeria.
The Programme will bring together outstanding and high-level intellectuals in the academia, research-based institutions, public sector and the private sector to collaborate, share ideas and ensure that findings from its research are applied in practice.
Programme Structure The Fellowship is non-residential and will last for Two (2) years. The Programme will be research-driven and Fellows will collectively produce research outputs, and engage in policy advocacy. The Fellowship will target four main areas: Economics and Development; Digital Economy; Public Governance & Institutions and Trade.
Eligibility • Fellows must be committed to contribute to the NESG’s mandate of promoting sustainable economic development in Nigeria through research and advocacy.
•The Programme is open to Ph.D. holders with years of experience in academics, research, and public policy. M.Sc. holders with 10+ years of experience in research and advocacy will be considered.
• The Programme is open to Nigerians (living in Nigeria or outside the country). Non-Nigerians who are willing to contribute to the development of Nigeria can also apply.
• Applicant must be proficient in English, both verbal and written.
• Candidates are expected to be associated with an academic or research institute. • Good writing and analytical skills are strongly required.
